Dr. Zwahlen is a native of Modesto, CA and has been practicing dentistry in this community for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University where he earned his degree in Japanese. After BYU, he attended Baylor University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Zwahlen did a one year residency at VA Hospital of San Francisco. Dr. Zwahlen is well-versed in all aspects of dentistry and has spent many years perfecting the art of dentistry. He has seen technology change drastically over the last 30 years and has always been commited to staying up-to-date and utilizing the latest and greatest technology to provide his patients with the best care available. Dr. Zwahlen and his wife, Sue, have 6 children and are proud grandparents to 5 grandkids. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zwahlen has devoted over 30 years to coaching high school football at both Davis and Downey high schools. He also serves as a leader in his local church. He and his wife, Sue, have been pillars of the Modesto community and are passionate about giving back.
